Georgia is a qualified Attorney at Law before the Supreme Court with many years of experience and expertise in Litigation and Advisory Law.

 She has a diverse legal education background of both English and Greek Law, she currently achieves her Doctoral Research (PhD) in the sector of Public Law in the University of Athens Law School, and she holds a Master of Laws in International Commercial and Maritime Law from The City University of London (LL.M) and a Master of Laws in Public and Administrative Law from the University of Athens Law School (LL.M) .

She graduated from the University of Athens Law School (LL.B) and she holds Certification from the Greek Chamber of the Environment & Sustainability for "Science and Law of Sustainability - Public Policy Systems - Legal Theory of Sustainability -Legal Methodology for Solving Sustainability Problems".

She speaks English, French, Italian and native Greek.

   Georgia has a solid legal experience cultivated in diverse environments. She has more than 20 years of extensive experience in both legal and technical maritime-marine services, since she has been working for the greek Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Insular Policy for the years 1998 up to 2010.
 Her substantial experience in this field includes: providing her advice as Executive Legal Counsel to the Minister of Maritime Affairs and other several positions including the Hellenic Coast Guard i.e. Ships Register & Ship Mortgages, Financial Division, Legal & Legislation Department, Office of General Inspector. Also during this period she acted as Member of the Control Commitee for Commercial Ships Inspections and as Associate of the National Anti-Money Laundering Authority. Her multidimensional expertise extends also to delivering special legal advice to Members of the Greek Parliament, as Special Legal Counsel on Public and Private Law issues in reform of the regulatory framework.

Georgia's non-contentious experience includes practicing International Commercial & Maritime Law. She has been involved as qualified greek lawyer in Maritime and Commercial Litigation, Administrative and Civil & Criminal Litigation, representing individuals, as well various commercial/trading corporations and shipowners, shipmanagers and yacht owners companies.
  She has been in-house Legal Counsel in the Legal Division of Piraeus Bank Headquarters from 2010-2015, providing timely accurate and high-quality legal opinions for a variety of topics, concentrating on Banking Law, transactions, Real Estate, contracts, Administrative Law, Corporate legal issues, as well the full handling of important cases by preparing/drafting/filling lawsuits, appeals, proposals, notes, memoranda and representing before Court hearings on behalf of  Piraeus Bank.
  She has been Associate to several Law Firms and Legal Counsel to various international companies in the Shipping & Trading Industry and ship-owning/ship-managers companies in Greece, London, Singapore, Hong Kong and   Philippines for more than 10 years, where she gained a wealth of experience dealing with joint-ventures, asset deals, ship & corporate finance, international trading, project management, business development as well as highly sensitive multi-party, multi-jurisdictional, high value and complex claims and disputes.
 
Georgia has a strong academic background with demonstrable achievements in publishing articles, participation in conferences as a speaker and her close collaboration with University Professors in the academic editorial work.
